QUEST VOLUME ONE - Q01-12

The first of our Quest signature series features a clean & modern preset with true skin tones that will be sure to delight portrait photographers who want something fresh & refined. With three very distinct variations, offering a range of tones from warm & creamy, to soft & romantic, to punchy & clean. The adjustable Diffusion profile included emulates the hazy glow found in diffusion filters while retaining center detail. AQ01i - Gentle, creamy warmth for beautiful skin tones. Subtle cyan blues and natural reds, paired with minimal grain, adding style & texture with an overall clean aesthetic

AQ01ii - Brings more tonal punch, adding contrast and saturation. It also pushes brighter highlights for a clean, modern look.

AQ01iii - Incredibly soft and delicate tonality with a distinct matte feel, for a more subdued and romantic look.

Diffusion Profile - Emulates the hazy glow created by a diffusion filter, whilst retaining detail in the center of the frame. using the profile slider you can determine exactly how much softness is introduced to the edges of your photo.

AQ02ii - Cooler and more contrasty, with deep emerald greens and teal blues.

AQ02iii - Copper tones with warm matte shadows and soft sun-kissed skin tones.

AQ03i - Mildly desaturated with a few clean and simple tonal adjustments. Skin tones are accurate with an added smooth and dreamy look. Overall dynamics are subtle with a very gentle roll-off on highlights for a very natural appearance.

AQ03ii - Added blues in the shadows and highlights with a push in midtones to keep golden hues with a cool backdrop.

AQ03iii - Added warmth across the spectrum with a dip in saturation for a summery golden look.

Dynamics Profile - Use this to help with contrast and luminance on those images that need a bit of punch, or to increase the soft/moody effect for a more stylized look.

This set explores a clean, cool-toned aesthetic with pale, icy blues and desaturated teal greens, whilst retaining soft, natural skin tones. No grain is applied as default to aid with the clean, modern aesthetic. The Quest 04 Aurora set includes 3 Color Presets, plus 1 Custom Profile. The Aurora Profile gives the ability to shift the shadow toning from warm to cool, whilst also adapting the green hue and blue luminosity.

AQ04i - Bright, neutral highlights bring an instant crispness without being overly contrasty. Desaturated blues and teal greens pair harmoniously with soft pinks and yellows.

AQ04ii - A slight warm push in the midtones contrasts beautifully against richer blues and cooler-toned greens

AQ04iii - Golden warmth throughout and muted highlights bring a romantic feel. Blues are heavily desaturated and reds become more prominent.

Aurora Profile - Adjust the profile slider to shift the shadows from deep ember to cobalt blue, whilst also altering the green hue and blue luminosity.

AQ05ii // Citrine - A soft golden warmth throughout the tonal range. The Citrine Profile adds a tawny-citrus undertone, while adding dynamic contrast.

AQ05iii // Jasper - An opaque earthy bronze color palette with deep emerald greens and peach highlights. The Jasper profile adds color depth and mood.

AQ05iv // Obsidian - Inspired by the Flowering Obsidian, this preset/profile emulates both the jet black and light gray of this igneous rock. Decrease the profile to add lightness and increase the profile to add contrast.

AQ06i - Clean, simple, & true. The stylized aspects are achieved through dynamic adjustments with only minor tonal shifts. This provides accuracy without the unwanted sterile appearance produced by digital cameras.

AQ06ii - A shift in dynamics to achieve a softer, smooth, and more minimal look.

AQ06iii - Muted highlights and a boost in contrast for a more stylized effect.

Emulsion Profile - Minty greens, pale pinks, and rich skin tones for an overall romantic aesthetic. Adjust the profile slider to shift tonality from highly accurate color, to this more stylized film stock look.

The seventh installment of Quest blends moody, romantic tones with cinematic color grading, creating a soft yet striking aesthetic, perfect for telling powerful stories through imagery. Each of the 3 variations explores distinctly unique color grades to suit any subject/scene while maintaining overall consistency.

The included Obscura profile emulates the characteristic refraction of light achieved when placing a plastic film over the lens of your camera. BONUS: An additional Obscura Filter preset allows the same effect to be achieved with a radial filter that can then be placed anywhere in the frame.

AQ07 i - Warm, earthy shadows and mid-tones, with subdued blues and greens giving this preset an overall warm feel which juxtaposes against the subtle teal toning in the highlights.

AQ07 ii - Rich, sandstone red shadows paired with clean, cool highlights offer a fresh, yet nostalgic feel. Midtones have a subtle ochre toning that complements the more prominent, light blues.

AQ07 iii - A more natural toned preset with a subtle green tint in the shadows and neutral mid-tones.

Obscura Profile - Emulates the unique softness created when shooting through a plastic film, causing haziness and blur as the light refracts from the edges.

Obscura Filter - Adds a radial filter with the same effect as the profile, allowing you to move its position anywhere in the frame.
