What or who inspires your photography? My family inspires my photography. I started off taking pictures of just my husband and kids and they have truly given me the confidence to keep growing. My two little kids have pushed me to get creative when it comes to capturing families, to get those real life moments, without being too posed. Kids move at a fast pace and they’ve taught me to keep up and shoot them in their natural element, doing their own thing. After all, as a photographer I want to capture how people truly are, not how I imagine them.
What’s your favorite photography tip? Have fun with it! Learn all you can and then just go experiment with it. There is no right or wrong way to do photography. You capture what inspires you.
What’s your favorite bit of gear and why? I'm loving my Canon RF 85 mm lens lately. I shot this whole session with it and it really brought the dreamy vibes to life. It forced me to move around a lot to capture different depths of field.
