Prism Effects is a light-sculpting preset collection designed to introduce dimension, movement, and creative distortion into your imagery. Inspired by the timeless technique of holding a glass prism before the lens, this set captures the magic of refracted light — reflections, flares, spectral shifts, and layered fragments — all within a seamless digital workflow.

Light becomes fluid. Edges fracture. Colors stretch and scatter across the frame.

Each prism effect is fully adjustable within Lightroom’s Masking Panel, allowing you to reposition and refine intensity with precision. Layer multiple prisms together to build complex compositions filled with depth and atmosphere, or apply a single subtle refraction for a refined, editorial touch. Horizontal and vertical versions ensure effortless integration into your composition.

“Let me be honest here.. I have tried using a legit prism before and I just can’t get the hang of it. Maybe it’s the hand eye coordination, I don’t know..so I gave up.
BUT! These prism effects are so rad. If you’re looking to add a little zing to your photos (without the cheesy obvious overlay look) these are great. Personally, I love the more subtle ones of the bunch such as Prism 01 and Prism 07. And if they’re too much? Go to the masking tools and lessen them. Easy as can be. Such a fun pack of tools— and surprisingly awesome it comes with TONS of them. I have no complaints at all! Archipelago— you’ve gone and done it again. Faithful fan forever.”
