"These presets are GORGEOUS. I'm always a bit hesitant with heavier styles that have lots of grain, but from the very first click I was in love — they give a beautiful, cinematic look to my images. I tested them on both a sunset beach session and a wooded lake session and it was great for both. For normal session use I'd pull the grain down to be more subtle, but it has a magic about it with the heavy grain. I especially enjoyed Nexus 01 and Nexus 01 Cine. Nexus 02 has a much cooler tone, so it wasn't the look I'd typically reach for, but in the right hands it would be stunning too. It's been a while since I've tried any new presets, and I'm very excited to use Nexus this coming season!"
"I love the overall color tones each preset provides — such a wonderful vintage feel! I used these on a portrait branding session in harsh forest light, with a variety of lighting situations, and was pleasantly surprised at the green tones: so pretty and vibrant while still maintaining natural skin tones. The multiple mask feature is awesome — it speeds up my workflow having items already masked, and I love how easy it is to make subtle adjustments. The color grading options were fun to play around with and evoke such varied moods; I especially love Daylight for a quick warm-up. I also used these for golden-hour portraits in the cherry blossoms — the Cine sets were magically aesthetic in tone, and I used the Dawn color to bring in more pink saturation. The filmic feel was pretty much one click with very little adjustment in the golden light. Absolutely loved these on golden-hour photos and even shade situations."
