A New Direction for the Quest Preset Subscription

At its core, Quest has always been about exploration. Trying new editing styles, discovering fresh creative directions, and building a preset library that evolves right alongside you as a photographer. Starting in March, we’re making a small but meaningful update to the Quest subscription that puts even more flexibility and choice into your hands.

Instead of receiving the featured Quest preset of the month as a free download, Quest subscribers will now receive a $38 credit code every month.

This monthly credit can be used toward:

  • The newly released Quest preset of the month OR

  • Any $38 preset or toolset from the Quest Archive, which now includes 56 and counting past Quest releases

Same subscription. More options.

What’s Changing and What’s Staying the Same

If you love the excitement of trying a brand new editing style each month, nothing really changes for you. Simply use your monthly $38 credit on the featured new Quest release and keep exploring with your photo editing the way you always have.

If, on the other hand, you’ve found a style you truly love and the latest Quest release is not quite your vibe, you now have the freedom to choose differently. Your monthly credit can be used to grab a preset or toolset from the Quest Archive that better fits your personal editing style or the work you’re shooting right now.

No pressure to download something you won’t use. No missed value if a month’s release isn’t a perfect fit.

Why We’re Making This Update

As the Quest Archive has grown, so has the diversity of styles within it. From cinematic and moody edits to bright, nostalgic color and clean, true-to-life tones, Quest now represents a wide range of creative directions.

This update allows you to:

  • Build a preset library intentionally over time

  • Invest in tools that actually support your workflow

  • Explore new styles when you’re inspired, not because you feel obligated

It’s still Quest. Just with more creative autonomy.

The Full Quest Archive, Now Open

One of the most exciting parts of this update is that the entire Quest journey is now available to you.

We’ve brought back all the early Quest releases as individual preset sets in the Quest Archive, making them available alongside our newer Quest installments. That means the full Quest Archive is now open for you to explore—whether you’re drawn to the earliest creative foundations of Quest or the most recent stylistic experiments.

This is a chance to revisit classic Quest edits you may have missed, or an opportunity to start at the beginning and build a library that reflects the full evolution of Quest over time.

Curate a collection that truly fits your creative voice.

Edit What Inspires You

With this new structure, your Quest subscription becomes less about a single monthly release and more about long-term creative freedom.

Choose what inspires you now. Build your library at your own pace. Always have innovative preset collections and toolsets ready for your next edit.

We’re excited about where Quest is heading, and we can’t wait to see what you create next.

February Bonus: A Free Quest Archive Credit

To kick things off, we’re giving Quest subscribers a little extra love in February.

All active Quest subscribers will receive a bonus $38 credit, completely free, that can be used on anything in the Quest Preset Archive.

Here’s how it works:

  • What is it?
A credit code worth $38 USD that can be applied to any preset or toolset in the Quest Archive.

  • Where can you find it?
Your bonus credit code is available on the Quest Members Homepage.

  • How do you use it?
Choose a preset you don’t already own from the Quest Archive and add it to your cart. At checkout, enter the code in the Discount Code field.

If you select a preset that costs more than the $38 credit, you’ll simply pay the difference. Most single preset collections in the Quest Archive are $38, so you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.

Think of it as a head start on building your Quest library—on us.
