Save Time Editing with Lightroom AI
One of the most controversial topics in the photography industry lately has been artificial intelligence, or AI. Simultaneously, improvements in AI technology allow photographers to save time on menial tasks like culling or certain aspects of editing!
Instead of taking over any of the creative aspects of photography, Adobe’s AI tech so far has focused on speeding up workflow without taking control away from the user.
At Quest, our developers are able to use Adobe's new technology and apply it to our presets immediately, giving you the most up-to-date resources to edit with!
Over the last few months, our presets have included AI tools to create one-click masks-- like subject and background selection-- so you don't have to spend hours hand masking your images for the perfect edits!

So, what AI tools are available in our Quest presets?
Quest 18 Arbor includes the Subject Pop preset that does… literally what the name suggests! It “pops” your subject away from the background by making the background darker to draw focus to the subject.
Inspired by the rich natural history of England’s ancient woodlands, Arbor explores a range of tones, from soft, dappled light filtering through the canopy, to the deep greens of fern leaves and contrasting patches of bluebells. The Arbor creative profile adds richness and depth to the image along with a warm nectar overtone. Subject Pop uses AI-driven subject recognition to selectively darken the background, emphasising the focal point of your image.
AQ18 i / Arbor - Warm russet shadows and prominent alder green tones, with faded blues and saturated reds.
AQ18 ii / Arbor - Dark, desaturated greens and teal toned blues, paired with neutral skin tones.
AQ18 iii / Arbor - Amber overtones, distinct fern greens and pale reds with a soft matte finish.

Quest 20 Orphic includes presets that incorporate subject and background masking to provide transformative lighting and mood, as well as an AI tool that gives you the ability to add a realistic Mist effect to any image!

AQ20 i / Orphic: Smoky blues with rose toned skin. A pale atmosphere with deep shadows & muted highlights. The default AI pushes your subject from the background with natural dynamic blending.
AQ20 ii / Orphic: A push in warmth delivers rich ochre tones atop the base preset.
AQ20 iii / Orphic: A heavy push in warmth delivers gilded bronze tones atop the base preset.
AQ20 iv/ Orphic: A B+W rendition of the base preset that emphasizes subject isolation while featuring subtle pewter shadows and sandstone highlights.
Orphic Profile: A simple dynamic fade in contrast preserving tonality.

Quest 24 Floresce brings you light & airy AI tools like Ethereal, which uses subject and background masks that lift brightness while retaining contrast & exposure levels. Also included are 3 Skin Tone presets to subtly adjust a person’s skin tone, and 3 Pastelize presets that filter tonality into your background while maintaining subject & skin tone accuracy.
Floresce brings you an ethereal collection of presets and AI tools, aimed at helping you achieve a stunning light & airy aesthetic with just a few clicks. The 3 color graded presets provide a strong base to work from, offering multiple dynamic options. You can customize your look further from there with the included AI presets.

These tools have personally sped up my workflow a lot and saved me countless hours editing wedding and I know they will do the same for you.
